Cora Lansdowne earned her Bachelor of Music in Applied Flute degree from Baylor University and continued her education at the University of Kansas, receiving her Master of Music Education/Music Therapy Equivalency. Cora became a Board Certified Music Therapist in 1997 and is also a long-time member of the American Music Therapy Association. She currently manages a private music therapy practice and although music therapy is a significant part of her life, she has also taught flute lessons, directed handbell choirs, and lead music and movement classes for pre-schoolers for many years. Cora was thrilled to complete her Music Together® Teacher Training in 2017. She lives in Midlothian with her husband and two teenagers and gardens, cooks, hikes, and reads in her free time. Everyone in her household is very used to her singing made up songs about everything all day long.
